AT THE NAME OF JESUS

Christians in Leatherhead & Bookham are joining with Christians all over the world to pray from the 6th-13th September. As we pray together, we want to acknowledge that Jesus is Lord over all of the earth. We’re seeking to encounter this beauty and power, and carry Jesus into our towns, cities and nations.

The theme 'At the Name of Jesus', is rooted in scripture:

“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”

Philippians 2:9-11 NIV

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We sign up for individual 1-2 hour slots (on your own or with a friend) to create a chain of unbroken day and night prayer that covers the whole week. We’ll also meet at specific times during the week for gathered prayer & worship - scroll below for details.

WHERE WILL WE PRAY?

Two locations: Leatherhead & Bookham.
Individual prayer slots are available at The Pigeon Shed hosted by The Gathering Church anytime during the week.
You can also pray at Bookham Baptist Church Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.

MONDAY 7th Sept 7:30-9pm
Bookham Baptist Church - Prayer with a global focus.

FRIDAY 11th Sept 7-9pm
Leatherhead Community Hub Cafe (same site as the Pigeon Shed) - Worship and Prayer together.

MONDAY-FRIDAY 8-9am
The Pigeon Shed - Morning Prayer

MONDAY-FRIDAY 12-1pm
Bookham Baptist Church - Midday Prayer
